Hubungan Konsumsi Buah dan Makan Gorengan dengan Kejadian Overweight Pada Remaja SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang
Purpose of study :This study aims to determine the relationship of fruit consumption and eating fried foods with the incidence of overweight in adolescents at SMAN 1 Sangkulirang.
Methodology : The research design used in this study is a correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were Sangkulirang 1 High School students with a total of 74 respondents, taken with a total sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the consumption of fruit and fried foods while the dependent variable in this study is the incidence of being overweight. Data collection uses a questionnaire that is distributed through Google Forms and then converts the data into standard values (z-scores) using the WHO Anthro Plus Software. Then the data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) which was then continued with the Chi-Square test with significance α = 0.05 (Notoatmojodjo, 2014).
Results : There was no significant relationship between fruit consumption (p = 0.072) and eating fried food (p = 0.391) with the incidence of overweight in adolescents
Benefits: Making the results of the study can be used as preliminary data or information sources on fruit consumption and fried food with the incidence of overweight in adolescents to conduct further research
